I recently acquired an Adaptec 1510 card with no documentation.
"No problems" think I, "the jumper data'll be on Adaptec's web pages". Wrong. :(
"Ah well, the PCB is marked 1510/1515/1520, let's try compiling in 1520
support and see what happens". Strike two.
At this stage it's time to ask the experts... :-)
How do I tell Linux that there's a 1510 plugged in and where do I find
information about the 5 jumpers on the board? (2 if one discounts the
addressing ones).
I'd like to get it going so I can setup a small network backup server.
There's a 2Gb DAT and 100Mb zip drive on the chain waiting to be spoken
to...
Thanks in advance,
AB
