Agreed!

Dirk here some additional infos, just out of my expierience:

DF> YES) All is fine; Did you have allready a device special file for
your tape? If not do this (as root):
	 mknod -m 660 /dev/rmt0 c 9 0 # This sets up a rewind-on close tape
	 mknod -m 660 /dev/rmt0.1 c 9 128 # This set up a stop-on close tape

If you only do a 'warmbootC' in windump00 (means double looser OS or early
alpha test) the win tape utils/drivers may had did some crazy things to
the tape. My own HP1533a does not work at all in linux if I didn't
Powered Down after Windump00 use. Hard Reset switch on the mainboard does not
work. (tape connected over Ncr810a PCI card).

Have success!
I'm more happy after formating my WinLoser00 Partition. That OS did take
too much time for error correcting and crashes. 5 days of normal operation
were followed with 2 days of bug hunting and trouble shooting. WinLooser00
is not recommended for people who wants to have a rock steady solid
computing environment. NT is neither recomended.
On word to MS: forget this company!
