oops, sorry for the prior post 8).
I hate to ask this publically but I am affraid that this is my last
resort. I have successfully installed and configured my ppp link with my
Linux.. However, there seems to be a problem with its speed.
On my same box, with the same ISP, I am able to hit average xfer
rates with winsock (3.2 kb/sec @ 28.8) but when i boot up the linux
partition, I cant seem to get xfers faster than .8 kb/sec. I have spent
much time on #linux and i tried using pppd with almost every possible
option combo available (including the one my ISP gave me) and have
concluded that this is definately not the problem.
If anybody has any suggestion... they would be greatly appreciated!
