I can come up with another explanation: linux and freebsd users have
different preferences.

If I were going to put another link here or two, I wouldn't use an ET
card.  Sure, the tiny little 64kbit I have works.  But I wouldn't use
it for a big router.

You have a problem with how linux users perceive you.
