WD / SMC 8013 ethernet card - 1.3.23 supported ?

Hi Guys

Can somebody tell me if the above is possible.

I can ifconfig, local ping (same machine) and route add the device, but this won't test the physical device (am I correct)
as it is in a different layer in the OSI model.

I would like to get this going so that I can transferr the data on this machine to another without multiple floppy disk swapping

The two cards in the two machines that I have will talk to each other dos (wash my mouth out with soap) wise and are quite happy swapping packets, have tried sending both-ways.

BTW both are using IRQ 10, set up by the dos (wash again) supplied routines.

Hope somebody can help...
