Hello,

I'm running Slakware 3.0 distr. with a 1.3.20 Linux kernel. I've ran Linux
with Arcnet support (and NameD) for a few months without problems. I
compiled a new kernel with NE2000 support (without arcnet support). After
that named won't run anymore :-(.....
I have included a part of the 'messages' file:

What can I do, install a newer version of NameD? And how is it possible that
i has run for months without problems with arcnet... ?
I don't don't know a thing about C, but is there something in the message
above that even I can understand ;-))... I mean is it possible to see what
kind of problem this is (for example: what means 'general protection f000').

TIA
