I thought that was the point! :)

There are 2 packages you are interested in:
Samba which performs as a WfW server.  It does not support the new Domain's 
on NT but the Workgroup sharing is very good (bit faster to).

Netatalk is the other and I am not as familiar with this.

Hi,

I wonder if the current Linux would be able to replace a Windows Nt 3.51
server? It acts today mainly as a printer server for WfW 3.11 and MacOS
machines. The printers are HP Deskjet 1200C with builtin Ethernet. How
does Linux handla that?
