Hrrm. Are you actually sticking the cards into a DOS box just to run the
config programs? It is a lot more sensible to stick a DOS boot floppy
in the linux box and run the config software from there. Seeing as you
only usually do this once, (and usually have to reboot for it to take
effect anyway) not having a linux version of the config program is 
really a non-issue.

There is a whole section in the Ethernet-HowTo on what cards can
be configured under Linux. Donald has written config programs for
the ne2k+ and the 3c5x9 cards. There is also a "wdsetup.c" floating
around the archives, but it needs a cleanup to be of any use. I can't
remember what other ones are listed in there.
