Just try the dummy devices, They do the things you want.
compile dummy as a module an you can load as many dum* devices as you
like...

Somebody already posted this here..
Maby you can tell the kernel directly to catch those IP Packets
without using the dummy devices.

For which purpose will I need ipaliasing.
Is the above the need ? or can someone tell me what the IP aliasing is
all about ?
