If you're going to be adding fonts for the next Athena release, I should
point out that the current Athena tex installation doesn't have the
fonts necessary to format texinfo documents properly. I have listed the
fonts needed for texinfo in the file /afs/sipb/project/tex/TEXINFO-FONTS.
In the same directory is a file called "ATHENA-TO-ADD" which lists those
fonts that are missing from the release. Please add them by copying
from the following directory:

/afs/sipb/project/tex/install/lib/tex/fonts

(You need only copy the fonts in the ATHENA-TO-ADD file. If you want to
take others, fine. I just want texinfo to work.)

Also, it's about time the Athena copy of texinfo.tex was updated. The
version installed on Athena now is 1.23, and the current version is
2.108. You can copy the newest vesion from:

/afs/sipb/project/tex/install/lib/tex/macros/texinfo.tex

This should cover the 300dpi fonts. Bert's 600dpi fonts include all you
need for texinfo with the new printers, except for lcircle10.600pk, and
I've sent him separate mail about that.

BUG-SIPB: I have installed the newest texinfo.tex and the required
magnifications (for 300dpi) in the sipb locker just now. They will be
available when the volume is released.
