oops; just noticed this after trying to display problem (but not after
trying to display problem2):
xfig: SIGSEGV signal trapped
xfig: figure empty or not modified - exiting
I noticed it after I'd quit the program, so I can't tell you if it
happened when trying to display the file or after some other event
(like me quitting xfig; sorry.
The core dump is in ~yandros/tmp/core.xfig.rs6k.segv.z, but it may be
mangled due to a problem with mv on the rs6k (see bugs for details).
Trying to repeat the error in xfig, I got:
[2] Illegal instruction xfig (core dumped)
after I quit the program (still only seeing the top line), but nothing
else. The coredump for this is in ~yandros/tmp/core.xfig.rs6k.ill.z,
and it too gave the same error from mv, but ls -l and cmp said the
moved file was identical to the backup, so I'm assuming both corefiles
are valid.
Finally, on the next try, I watched it carefully, and it dumped core
(ILL) immediately upon quiting, same as above.
Whew. Any questions?
