Please get rid of the latest puke.puke.puke group, the colon on the
end is messing up xrn when it is used the second time.
It has already been "gotten rid of" on the news server.
I got this problem by logging on to a RS6000 and reading the news.
When I quit, the file entered by .newsrc file. The next time I
tried xrn I go t the error.
Load your .newsrc file into an editor and delete the line with
"Sender:" on it, and then you will be able to use xrn.
