The group has been deleted from the news server. Remove the offending
line from your .newsrc file, and the problem should go away.
The "correct" full solution to the problem of bogus newsgroups is not
clear. It also isn't likely that anybody is going to spend an
especially long time worrying about it, since it doesn't crop up very
frequently and since most of us have better things to worry about (1/2
:-).
