This is no longer early field deployment. That was the period of field
test (formerly known as staff test). We don't have any formal plans in
place for dealing at this level.
Issues:
AFS systems packs - nobrainers
RVD's for Vax'es and RT's - that would be alot to patch.
For the RVD: specials.init shrinks in size - no problem - add
filler spaces
files.init increases from 302 bytes to 539 bytes
THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM
I'm not sure what to do. We have the potential for a late summer
release, but do people want it. Would this justify it? Is there anything
else in addition to this that would justify it?
