I can make a guess -- otalk was provided as part of the base software
with Ultrix, and DEC changed the name?
Otherwise, why did we change it?

What's wrong:
On the DEC 5000/25 with Athena 7.4, there is no talk.old, but there
is otalk. I checked an RT under 7.4, and it was still called talk.old.
What should have happened:
Probably otalk should be renamed talk.old to be compatible with
other 7.4 platforms and previous athena releases, but if there's some
reason not to do this, at least it should be documented somewhere obvious.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
The name "talk.old" _is_ explicitly mentioned in the only place I
could find useful information on "talk" in olh:
