Dumb question -- this should include /usr/athena/etc (where traceroute
from the Athena release exists), right?

Note that SGI distributes a traceroute in /usr/etc, which is a
different version than LBL traceroute (build in /usr/athena/etc), the
notable change is that /usr/etc/traceroute notes ttl variations that
are indicative of asymmetric routing. Eg:

[steve-dallas!jhawk] ~> /usr/etc/traceroute cannes.aa.ans.net
traceroute to cannes.aa.ans.net (198.83.22.66), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
 1 NW12A-RTR-W20-ETHER.MIT.EDU (18.70.0.1) 15 ms 48 ms 14 ms
 2 EXTERNAL-RTR-FDDI.MIT.EDU (18.168.0.12) 14 ms 3 ms 2 ms
 3 cambridge2-br1.bbnplanet.net (192.233.33.5) 14 ms 2 ms 3 ms
 4 cambridge1-br2.bbnplanet.net (4.0.2.25) 14 ms 3 ms 4 ms

 6 nyc1-br2.bbnplanet.net (4.0.1.121) 49 ms 11 ms 10 ms
 7 nyc2-br2.bbnplanet.net (4.0.1.154) 57 ms (ttl=248!) 99 ms (ttl=248!) 112 ms (ttl=248!)
