IRIX 8.0J release in dev cell; Solaris announcement

Before I go into the main subject of this message, I'd like to note
that I don't plan to do a Solaris patch release this IAP, because miki
doesn't actually need the kernel upgraded (and that was the only
reason for the patch release).
That said, the IRIX 8.0J release just went out in the dev cell. The
changes are:
* root's crontab file will be copied in from the packs, to
rectify an error on the install server where the crontab
file was not installed from the packs. The install server
has been fixed separately.
* The camera should work on R4xxx SGIs again, and the problem
should not recur.
Here are instructions for propagating this release to the Athena cell:
pts adduser ${USER}.root system:packs
aklog -force athena
attach -n source
cd /afs/.athena.mit.edu/system/sgi_53/srvd.80
synctree -s /afs/dev.mit.edu/system/sgi_53/srvd.80 -d . \
-a /source/support/rconf/rconf.dev-to-athena
cd /afs/.athena.mit.edu/system/sgi_53/install
synctree -s /afs/dev.mit.edu/system/sgi_53/install -d . \
-a /source/support/rconf/rconf.dev-to-athena
pts removeuser ${USER}.root system:packs
aklog -force athena
Then release the install volume and srvd volume, a few minutes apart.
Before releasing the srvd volume, verify that
/afs/athena.mit.edu/system/sgi_53/install/install/update is dated
December 3, 1996 or later.
