After some really good work by jdreed to inventory the testing and to
summarize and describe exactly what the current situation is, and how
it is best refined going forward, I visited Mark Silis and Garry
Zacheiss yesterday.

I told Mark:

* that the testing of PO 15 was successful -- that having
POXX.mit.edu stay the old way with POXX.mail.mit.edu to support
GSSAPI and to work as PO15 is set up is just fine and dandy, even for
old versions of Eudora.

* that some people asked for all MIT PO servers to be made like PO15
ASAP, but that the best next step was to make ONE production PO
server to be like PO 15. He said, pick one, and I said, mention was
made of PO 14, and he said that everybody he knows uses PO 12. So I
left it up to him to pick either 12 or 14 and to make the change and
let me know.

I told Garry that the Hesiod setup for users migrated to Exchange
looked incorrect. He said that that was a known and temporary
situation. He said that as soon as he could check in with Mark to
sanity check it, he'd fix the Hesiod information so that it would
reflect a person's primary Email account, whether that be a PO server
or exchange.mit.edu.

Bottom line: The requests to take PO 15 and the Hesiod information
to the next step have been made.

I apologize for having taken so long to move this stuff forward. I
wanted to make sure that the actions requested were the correct ones,
and that our understanding of the situation was correct, and easily
communicated with clarity.
