1. Patch release
We have at least one problem with the patch release, which is that the
screen seems to go blank on autoupdating machines. This is probably
related to replacing libc or someting. (ajfox also reported a problem
which seems to happen post-updated, but that could be an isolated
problem.)
The plan is to do a miniroot update, and put out an 8.4.22 patch
release with MINIROOT=true.
2. 9.0 status
Alpha is supposed to be in four days.
The Solaris update may be ready by the end of this week.
The Linux 9.0 install is supposedly working, although getting the
GX150 to work is proving difficult.
3. Other notes
downy was hacked recently (it's been reinstalled). It was running an
extremely early 8.4.0, and was probably running the vendor snmpd.
We briefly discussed keeping or punting the initial terminal, but
decided not to.
