1. m64config Solaris issue

Todd reports that his Ultra 5 comes up in 8-bit mode during the first
boot after an update, but not after subsequent reboots (using boot
-r).

It sounds like forcing a device reconfigure after updates is
warranted. Greg will submit a patch.

2. Etherboot 3c905c issue

We should look for a new etherboot. [There are substantially newer
versions, so there's a fairly good chance.]

3. Netscape java issue

Alex wants some patches installed to make JDK 1.3 work better on
Solaris. miki will look into them. [It turns our that they all
involve installing 64-bit packages, so someone got confused
somewhere...]

4. Solaris update lossage

Four Solaris machines (two of them Ultra 1s) don't seem to have
finished running mkserv. More investigation is required.

5. Linux update lossage

A public Linux machine seems to have failed to take the update due to
the ypbind post-install script failing ("service ypbind does not
support chkconfig"). It is continuing to fail to take the update,
which is a little odd.

6. Solaris two-partition install

miki is mostly done here except she doesn't have partition tables for
some kinds of disks. We'll try to track down machines with those disk
sizes to make partition tables.

7. BIND

We probably want BIND to only listen on the local interface, in the
next full release. Some number of people will lose because they use
Athena machines as recursive resolvers; we can send a warning to
release-announce to help this not be a surprise.

We might also consider making bind run as nobody, depending on how
hard that is.
