This is just a heads-up. The 8.1 Athena release has now gone to early
test, which happens to workstations automatically if they are set to
auto-update. (Previously testing phases require a manual update.) So
the typical machine in the early cluster has already taken automatic
updates. We are going to modify the alpha and beta clusters shortly
(perhaps tonight) to also automatically take the update to 8.1.

The upshot is that if you have a machine in one of the alpha or beta
clusters which you deliberately haven't been updating, make sure to
set it to not auto-update (by setting AUTOUPDATE to false in
/etc/athena/rc.conf) if you don't want to take the new release.
