What were you trying to do?
     I am using MIT/scripts to host a post-receive git commit hook that is triggered
     by GitHub. I want this commit hook to be able to deploy to Heroku. This means
     that the Heroku toolchain would need to be installed on cluster machines.

     I attempted to install the Heroku toolchain, but apparently installs are 
     limited to the current login sandbox on cluster machines. Is it possible to
     have the heroku toolchain installed on all machines?

What's wrong:
     Cannot install software that persists between logins.

What should have happened:
     This is the correct behavior...
