I originally was in agreement with wdc's "exactly right" reply, but I
think there is a small distinction to be made since "Athena release team"
can be construed to mean "a bunch of IS&T people".

Yes, for values of "Athena release team" that include SIPB debathena
maintainers.  While there's some chance that IS&T and SIPB will someday
have a fundamental split and want to maintain separate -extra-software
packages, it's currently jointly maintained (the only thing we've
actually forked is gdm-config), and I'd like to keep it that way.
