Does anyone have additional comments on this matter?
In particular, I would like to hear an explanation of the problems that an=
=20
unsuspecting user may encounter after picking the =E2=80=9CGNOME=E2=80=9D o=
ption rather=20
than the =E2=80=9CRun Xclient script=E2=80=9D option.
If there isn=E2=80=99t a real problem that these gdm-config changes are sol=
ving,=20
or if it is going to take a long time to come to a conclusion on what the=
=20
right solution is, we should go ahead and revert the changes. It is=20
important that our trunk matches the code that we intend to deploy.
