Friendly Testers for Release 7.4 (please read)

We're putting together the list of workstations that will take the
early test version of Athena Release 7.4. This will be available for
Vax, RT, RS/6000 and DECstations. Friendly test will commence
sometime next week, and run until early June at which point we will
enter Field Test and expect most IS staff to become testers.
For someone to participate in Friendly Test, they should understand
that the environment may be unstable. If your workstation provides a
critical service for the community, or you cannot afford to spend some
percentage of your time doing testing this month, then you should not
be a friendly tester. Testers should be somewhat knowledgable about
the Athena environment so that they can send coherent bug reports and
work around any deficiencies until a fix is found.
Please scan the list of workstations below. If your workstation is
listed, and you do NOT want to be a tester, or if your workstation is
not listed and you DO want to be a tester, please send me
<mar@mit.edu> a response indicating this.
