An Internet Workshop

University Park, Pennsylvania USA
The Pennsylvania State University Libraries and the Center for Academic
Computing are jointly sponsoring a day-long workshop on the use of the
Internet on Friday, September 18, 1992 at the University Park Campus in
State College, Pennsylvania. Topics to be covered include electronic
mail, electronic discussion lists, file transfers, and how to access
library catalogs, databases, and archives. There will be a hands-on
session with demonstrations emphasizing the use of the Internet for
scholarly communication and research. The workshop registration fee of
$75 covers instruction, materials, break refreshments and lunch.
The workshop is geared to faculty and librarians at academic institutions
in the Pennsyvlania geographic area.
