Subject: voice mail
If this topic has been discussed, please refer me to the correct index topic.
What are libraries including on their voice mail options? Do you have a
choice of leaving a personal message? How many "layers" will callers sort
through to get what they need? Do you always include a choice of speaking
to a "live" person?
I will be glad to summarize to the list, if you will reply to me.

Subject: Telephoned overdue notice
We are looking into the possibility of using telephoned overdue
notification, but are unaware of any software to do this. We would
want to pull the username, book title, and phone number off the
circulation system, and feed them into a telephone dialler which would
deliver the message when the phone was answered, but keep redialling until the
message was delivered.
Is anyone aware of any (combination) of hardware and software which
might do this?
