Please for give repetition. MISC JOBS Marketing Representative: AMIGOS has an immediate opening for a librarian with sales experience. This individual will be responsible for assuring that sales goals for AMIGOS product s and services are met through appropriate and effective promotion and related sales activities. QUALIFICATIONS: An ALA-accredited MLS, with undergraduate degree in business or marketing prefe rred. Two years of progressively responsible professional level experience (sales experience preferred). Bachelors degree in marketing, sales or related speciality may be substituted for one year of experience. Background to includ e knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following: OCLC systems and products, Local library automation systems, Library bibliographic database creation/maintenance. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; stro ng interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to establish and maintain exc ellent realtions with clients, members and AMIGOS staff members, and to work in dependently as well as function as team player. Must be able to travel. MINIMUM FOR POSITION: Low 30's dependion on experience and background.
