I see a PDA as my next computer but one (just bought a 486sx; plan
on a laptop in 2-3 years; then a PDA). I think patrons will go to
libraries and hook into the OPAC with a PDA and search as they walk around.
Students will use 8 1/2 x 11" ones to take notes in class, getting a
digitized set afterwards.
BUT, I am probably too conservative. 100 years ago to now is probably
less of a technological change than now to 2092.
Yikes! Imagine how much rap music there'll be then!!!
