Are there any libraries who are circulating microcomputer software? We
are in the process of evaluating our collection development policy with
regard to software and would like to know how other libraries are handling
this. What guidelines are being used? Does it circulate like any other
media? How do you check for scrambled data and viruses? Do you keep
the master as an arcived copy and circulate a backup? Any insight you
have would be of great help. Thanks in advance.
