If you are using VMS on a vax, you can utilize the SEARCH [filename]
command, in order to achieve the same effect [as Roy Tennant's suggested
approach for Unix users]. However, as Roy indicates, first you have to issue
the REVIEW command to the appropriate listserv (e.g., from listserv@uhupvm1
for pacs-l); once the file is received, place it in your vax directory.
You can then search for strings (e.g. surnames; hostnames; etc.)
