I am doing a case study about issues involved in designing a reference
collection database to be loaded on a personal computer for staff and patron
use. It will include bibliographic citations and collection maintenance
information, with mixed record length and fixed and free fields. Has anyone in
PACS-L had experience with such a design? Suggestions on database structure and
other design considerations will be greatly appreciated. Please respond to me
