Description: This program will: explain the use of GIS systems in libraries;
show how to access 1990 Census data from CD-ROMs; describe the process
of accessing, compressing, downloading, and exploding TIGER/Line files; and
indicate the minimum level of hardware and software to perform these
functions. GIS software vendors will also be on hand to demonstrate their
products and how they handle the TIGER/Line files and 1990 Census data.
