Due to the large number of requests for the USMARC Community Information
Format proposal, we would prefer to send the document only to those who
plan to implement the format in the next six months. We expect the
USMARC Format for Community Information to be available in the fall. If
you can wait until fall 1992 for the information, please do not contact
us now. Meanwhile, the introduction to the proposal and decisions made
at the MARBI meeting in January, as well as a list of fields, is
available in the document: 92-1 DOC. It is available from USMARC-L. Send
