I'm trying to find out if there is a database about Christopher
Columbus called CIRS (Computerized Information Retrieval System) and
if it exists, in what format is it available or how it is accessed.

I have searched several printed database directories, scanned a
variety of databases in the humanities and news/current events, and
searched with WAIS. So far, I've seen reference to some CD-ROM and
videodisc based products, but nothing else. Any leads, confirming or
denying the existence of such a database, will be welcome. Please
reply by email, I will report the results.

Thank you.
