Regarding Bernie's concern about whether or not libraries are involved -
Paul Gherman, who in a previous life was director of Tech's library, has
moved to the electronic village project. Knowing Paul, the libraries
interest will definitly be well represented. Nothing like having an mole
on the inside!

The project that Bernie refers to has Paul Gherman, former University
Librarian at VPI&SU, very prominently involved with it, if not heading it.
He spoke briefly about the project at Computers in Libraries in March,
because he was just about to start working with it. Library views will
definitely be represented. Sorry if I have this garbled at all, but he
would be a further source of information.
