EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Ralph Nader's Taxpayer Assets Project
April 30, 1992
The Taxpayer Assets Project (TAP) was started by Ralph Nader to
investigate the management of government owned property. Over
the past two years TAP has issued research reports on the Mining
Act of 1872, and management of government information resources,
and the transfer of intellectual property rights from the
National Institutes of Health to pharmaceutical companies. TAP
is also doing research on a number of other topics, including (
for example): timber resources, oil and gas, radio spectrums,
the National Research and Education Network (NREN), and
government owned software.
We have staff openings. A full time (entry level) research
associate position pays about $12,000 per year. The salary is
not competitive with government or industry jobs, but the work is
quite rewarding. We ask for a two year commitment. These
positions are at the Center for Study of Responsive Law in
Washington, DC, near the Dupont Circle area.
We also have paid intern positions available, in Washington,
Princeton or other locations. These positions are available year
round, including summer assignments.
Please contact James Love, Director, Taxpayer Assets Project, at
609-683-0534, 7-Z Magie, Princeton, NJ 08540. (Internet:
