Greetings!
I'm an assistant professor at Syracuse University's School of
Information Studies, and will be doing a traveling workshop this
semester called "Bibliomining Across North America."
This half-day non-technical workshop is designed to raise awareness
about the types of data in libraries, data warehousing concepts to
protect patron privacy while maintaining a data-based history, and the
bibliomining, or data mining in libraries, process and its use in
library evaluation. The intended audiences for the talk are libraries,
library students, and faculty members. There's more information about

The list of places is still under development, but is currently:

This summer, I am going to create an online version of the workshop so
that anyone interested can learn about the usefulness of library data
and methods to protect patron privacy.
