When I asked the technical support staff at UMI for suggestions about how to do this, they recommended a menu system software package called Direct Access. We currently have it on order. Among the software package's features are password protection to "keep unwanted eyes out of an menu or sub-menu ... and safeguard your applications, menu configurations, or your files," and virus protection.
