Large screen monitors for public computers

We are looking to purchase a couple of large screen monitors for public use
at stations set up for the visually impaired.  Any suggestions or special
considerations that need to be taken into account?  Anyone have any
suggestions as to particular models or sizes?  The monitors must work with
IBM desktop computers.
