I've posted this to several lists because I have need to make a decision
quickly. My apologies for the cross-postings.

I'm looking for recommendations for a scanner that we want to make available
for our patrons to use. It will be attached to a pentium running Windows NT
Workstation 4. We're looking for something simple and basic. Are any of
you providing scanners for public use and do you have any suggestions?

Also, once the scanner is here, I need to write some very basic, simple (my
director emphasized this several times) instructions for use. Would anyone
who has already done something like this be willing to share?

Thanks for your help.
