The Democratic and Republican materials are also
available on the University of Maryland CWIS, called INFO.
Telnet info.umd.edu. You then have a choice between the
"info" interface (which allows you to transfer the
documents by ftp), or the "gopher" interface (which sends
the documents by e-mail). Either way, this is an excellent
system!

We've WAIS indexed all the Clinton and Bush speeches and registered the
sources with the directory of servers at think.com as well as made the
files available for download via anonymous ftp at SunSITE.unc.edu.
Additionally we will be releasing special WAIS clients for Windows to
query the Clinton and Bush speeches very soon. These clients will feature
pictures of the candidates with a visitor from outer space who wants to
know about their positions...
