Do you have Macs as terminals in the library?
If so have you loaded the language kits which come with system 9?
We are planning to do this for our patrons who read non-Roman writing systems and its very easy to do. All you need to do is a custom install for the kits of your choice off the OS 9 CD-ROM. We loaded all of the kits onto a G4 as an experiment and it seems to be problem free.

I am sure most of the participants in this discussion group are UNIX
based or are in a PC environment.
I am curious if there are any Macintosh people out there ( besides
us). We recently added remote databases for our patrons to access
from home and are having occasional problems.
I know my Network Administrator and other staff are well qualified,
but it might be helpful if I could find others out there with whom
they could commiserate....and share information.
