        We are seeking a Manager of Distributed Systems Marketing & Sales
Support to be involved in creating marketing strategies and providing
leadership in the development of cutting edge Web-based solutions for
libraries. These solutions incorporate server-side Java with library-based
knowledge management principles. In addition to developing and coordinating
advertising and promotions, this person will represent OCLC at business
shows and with OCLC members in both the U.S. and abroad.

        Candidates must have an advanced degree in library or information
science and/or an MBA with an emphasis in marketing or equivalent
experience. A minimum of five years progressively increasing management
experience is required. A broad exposure to libraries, marketing
methodology, networked information systems, and library integrated local
systems is highly desirable.
