Can anyone tell me if index name specifications/conventions are part of
the ANSI Z39.58 standard? If so, is there a good web site to find this
information? I am asking this because we are a large consortium with a
number library catalog databases. We hope to maintain a degree of
consistency across our 20+ members. Before we develop a local naming
convention, we wanted to see if there were established protocols already.
Thanks.
