I am thinking of a remote reference service where the questions come into
the reference office via something like chat, but the reference communicates
back to the users web browser using voice and video and graphic display.
That is: the user's technology is relatively modest web browser but the
library's technology is something more elaborate.
Is anyone familiar with such a system or the technology components which
might be put together to create it?
