"How To Win Accounts And Influence Librarians"
A joint Program presented by ALCTS Acquisitions Librarians/Vendors of
Library Materials and MARS Hot Topics: Panel and open discussion
When:   Sunday, January 31st  8:30-10:30
Where:   Wyndham Franklin Plaza,  N 17th and Race St. -
(room - Philadelphia North)

Topic:
What do librarians value and find essential in considering the acquisition
of an electronic product?   What features, pricing and access strategies
will advance or hinder the sale? How do companies communicate with library
users at different levels from advisory/user/focus groups to listservs and
newsletters?  Come to a dialog among librarians and vendors about issues
and priorities that affect acquisition decisions.
