Victor,

As far as I remember, BookWhere was a good Z39 client. Check out:
http://www.bookwhere.com/. Also, check out
http://www.dstc.edu.au/RDU/reports/zreviews/z3950-client-survey.html for a
list and brief overview of other Z39.50 products -- but that page hasn't
been updated since January 1997.

I hope that helps!

Dean Riley

Hi Victor

The best Z39.50 client I know of is BookWhere. (not entirely unbiased as we
distribute it in Europe!)
Not shareware but very reasonable.
It allows concurrent searching of hundreds of Catalogues and enables full
MARC record downloading where appropriate.

To download a free evaluation copy
In the US go to : http://www.bookwhere.com/
In Europe go to our site http://www.fenwood.co.uk

Check out Bibilo Tech Reviews on Z39.50 stand-alone clients at
http://wkweb3.cableinet.co.uk/biblio/html/z39.50_clients.html

I use ZNavigator. It's free and easy to configure and use.
