Fortres is probably easiest to set up, although I don't particularly know if
they've got an NT version. I've not used it at Reserve. Actually, WinNT has
probably all the tools you need to lock the system down, although Micro$oft
doesn't make the process easy. There are some good books out there on NT
user profiles and security. I kind of like Meggitt and Ritchey, Windows NT
User Administration by O'Reilly, but this is oriented to an NT network, not
stand-alone PCs (you didn't elaborate). Good Luck.

Subject: Public Access PCs (Windows NT)
I'm looking for a security package to install on Windows NT workstations
that will be used for public access. Do you know of any good products? Is
Fortress the best????
Thanks in advance.
P.S.
How can I subscribe to this group?
