This is in response to your message concerning Web-based reference
service.
In the Science Division at the San Diego State University Library, we
offer CHEMINFO ( designed to answer frequently asked chemistry
questions).
Originally CHEMINFO was a semi-expert system, mounted on a stan-alone
computer station. Over the years it evolved into an internet resource.
